In Van Niwas, Nainital, at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, a cleanliness drive was carried out on Wednesday by school children from Hyderabad and Pondicherry, with the support of the Forest Department, Nainital. The campaign was part of the Clean Forest, Green Forest theme and was conducted in the Lands End/Tiffin Top area.

During the cleanliness drive, the students collected water bottles, plastic bottles, and chip wrappers from the forest. They also raised awareness among tourists present there about cleanliness. These children also organized a rally to spread awareness.

The students came from Sri Aurobindo International School, Hyderabad, and New Creation Bilingual School, Pondicherry.

During the event, Sri Aurobindo Ashram members Samit Sutha, Deepak Pathak, Ashutosh Sutha, Ayush Mehra, Jai Janani Jai Bharat’s Manoj Sah, and community member Jagati Samast also participated.
