An eye-opening session was organized on 8th October 2022 with Ms. Jyoti Nima. The session covered the problem of the amount of wastage created by our households and how it is affecting our ecosystem. Also shared is the solution, Vermicompost, a natural compost made with the help of red worms that eat waste items from our kitchen. The trainees also made their own vermicompost under the guidance of Ms. Jyoti Nima. The session was beneficial to bring awareness to the amount of waste we release from our kitchen, how to resolve this problem, and use it to our advantage. Trainees also got to know that organic compost is becoming a great source of income.
